A seasonal promotional video for Minted.com.
I worked closely with the owner of Minted.com, Mariam, to hand craft this video. She and her team wrote a loose script, then I played with Alison’s (a Minted employee) performance and had some fun with the greeting card products. In the end, both Mariam and I were very happy with this video.

I worked with Rhapsody to help develop the visual shooting style for their new interview series titled The Box. The trailer features sound bites from Lady Gaga, Nick Jonas, and Weird Al who all had the privilege of answering questions from The Box.
I did the lighting design and shot the Lady Gaga and Weird Al interviews.
I also created and produced the intro animation for the series using a mix of live action with green screen and After Effects animation techniques.
Wonderlick approached Lauren Tabak and I and asked if we could produce a low budget music video with the concept being diverse groups of people making out. The given time line from start to finish was 3 weeks. We spent one week bouncing around different ideas, two days writing the stories of each couple’s scene, one day shooting, and one week editing.
This video was shot in HD on the HVX200 with a skeleton crew of 5, including Lauren the Producer and me, the Director/DP.

Benefit was looking for a video that would feature the behind the scenes of a real photo shoot as well as offer make tips for some of Benefit’s more popular products. I worked with them to write and produce the style and structure of the video, then shot, directed, and edited it over the course of a week.

Twitter, Crushpad, and Room to Read teamed up to produce a wine that would later be sold to raise funds for Room to Read’s literacy programs. This video features just one step of the wine making process and includes Twitter and Room to Read employees reaping the benefits of their month’s of hard work.
